London based Lianne La Havas is a great talent. Her voice made me excited as soon as I heard it, how powerful. The British folk and soul inspired songstress has been making waves in the alternative scene. So much so that she has earnt the nomination for a Grammy in the category ‘Best Urban Contemporary Album’ for ‘Blood’. Lianne has also announced an exclusive US solo tour for this February. This feature will be focusing on the track Unstoppable from the Blood album. Beginning with an increasing jumble of haunting sounds, the song reaches a cool beat with smooth vocals, teasing us into the journey. Lianne's vocals has a distinct raspy tone that quickly turns into a big-voiced crescendo in the chorus, as she belts "We are unstoppable". Give the remix by Jungle a listen for a 90s sounding, jazzy edit. Dare I compare her rising talent to the British sweetheart Corrine Bailey Rae?
