And we’re back to Watford this week to dig up another gem! Joshua Pamplin heralds from this town but currently lives in Leeds. The bass player is being featured this week, not for his guitar skills, but for his trance inducing talents as a Producer.. Using a range of instruments, Joshua creates electronic and experimental sounds that just make you want to chill out and relax (just in time for you to cope with the horrible weather!). The song I’ve chosen to play is an electronic, pop blend with the right amount of head bops. The track is called What To Say? and was released on Soundcloud last year. What I love about this song is the layers of sounds that really make you unwind – from the keyboard, to the synths, the bass to the experimental hazy sounds in the background. It also features looping, harmonic vocals from Josh Salmon that make the song truly experimental. It’s one of my new favourites to play in the background, staring out the window while the rain pours.
