With winter truly setting in, the threat of snow on the horizon and frost biting at our toes, now is the time to stay in. It’s time to snuggle up. It’s the the time to watch one or more of these five new features that I have found for you this week. Let me tell you all that there is a right mixture too for you to enjoy…

Big Night of Musicals, Out Now, BBC iPlayer, Sunday 30th January: We all love a musical and this treat, which was on TV last night, will have you up and singing. Grab that hairbrush and join in with the likes of Beauty and the Beast, Mamma Mia and more, as the teams behind some of the biggest theatre shows celebrate their world.

Celebrity Hunted, 9pm, Channel 4, Sunday 30th January: If you have ever seen Hunted then you know it can be an intense viewing. However, with some of our favourite stars taking on the challenge, it is set to be even more entertaining. Raising money for charity, this is going to be a surprise for all taking part. Making it very fun for us watching.

The Great Cookbook Challenge With Jamie Oliver, 8pm, Channel 4, Monday 31st January: Jamie Oliver is returning to our screens, but in a very different fashion. Having created 25 cookbooks himself, the celebrity chef is now helping others to achieve their dreams, taking on the role of a judge, as aspiring writers seek to get their cookbooks published. Shown over the course of seven episodes, this is the GBBO fixer that we need this winter.

Pam & Tommy, 8am, Disney Plus UK, Wednesday 2nd February: After months of teasing, this new series tells the story of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee’s stolen sex tape and the aftermath of the huge drama. With Sebastian Stan and Lily James taking on the leading roles, this mini series is going to be a huge talking point this year. Don’t miss the first three episodes launching today.

Reacher, 8am, Amazon Prime Video UK, Friday 4th February: Jack Reacher has been played by many and now it is getting another makeover by Amazon Prime Video. Based on the best-selling books, if it has been created and made like the recent Jack Ryan, it is going to be a very thrilling watch for us all this weekend. Perfect binge-watching material in fact.
