Half the places for Peace Hospice Care’s Watford Colour Run have already been snapped up with more than seven weeks to go.
Last year, the Watford Colour Run sold out and this year looks set to be a sell out too! So far, 500 participants have signed up to take part in the 5k fun run which will take place on Sunday 21st May at Aldenham Country Park. Anyone interested in taking part this year is urged to sign up early to avoid missing out.
Ben Day, our Rewind presenter at Vibe 107.6 FM, took part in last year’s event with his wife and daughter. Ben said: “I ran as I wanted to support the Hospice for the brilliant care they gave my dad in his last days. That’s not something you can put a value on and so I try to support the charity wherever I can. I’d encourage anyone to take part; there are people of all abilities just having a great time and getting covered in multi-coloured powder!”

Pete Watson, Events and Community Fundraising Manager at Peace Hospice Care, said: “Watford Colour Run places are going fast. We usually get a last minute rush so I’m confident this year’s event is going to smash our target with more participants than ever before.”
There is no age or time limit to finishing the course so participants can hop, skip, jump, walk or dance their way round! The run will start at 10.30am and there will also be music, food stalls, rides and games throughout the day. So get all the family together and join us for the friendliest family fun run in town, the Watford Colour Run!
