A family-friendly celebration of Watford FC’s promotion to the Premiership will be held on Monday 4th May in Cassiobury Park, hosted by Vibe 107.6 FM!
So come down and join in as the fun starts at 1.00pm with music and entertainment on a stage in the centre of the park. Three big screens will be located in front of the stage, as well as food and drink stalls, a bouncy slide and rides for the little ones.
The Watford FC team and players will travel in an open top bus along St Albans Road from Asda on the dome roundabout, up to the park, arriving at 2.00pm. The bus will enter the park at the Shepherds Road entrance and then make its way slowly to the stage (located near the Cedar tree) to join Vibe 107.6 FM on stage at 3.00pm. This will be the best place to see the players and enjoy the family-friendly entertainment that will be on offer!
Our very own Lee Partridge will be on stage, interviewing players, running competitions and playing some great music to celebrate Watford FC's fantastic achievement!
The entertainment will carry on until 5.00pm, after which time visitors will be encouraged to make their way back into town to continue the celebrations.
Lots of people are expected to join so please use public transport where you can or park in the town centre car parks. Please note there will be no parking available in Cassiobury Park car park (off Gade Avenue) and the following roads will be closed (access only) – Cassiobury Park Avenue, Shepherds Road, Gade Avenue and Swiss Avenue.
