Watford born Anthony Joshua will be defending his WBA and IBF world heavyweight titles in Cardiff against New Zealand’s Joseph Parker on Saturday 31st March.
The winner-takes-all-fight will put Joshua’s titles on the line for Parker’s WBO belt.
The Watford star said in a London press conference yesterday that "it's one fight at a time", and he is not looking further than the unification fight this weekend. "People need to be realistic. For now my future stops on Saturday."
The fight will make 'history' according to Joshua, who told BBC Sport "it's going to be electric. This is a unification fight with two heavyweights undefeated and it's in the UK." Since Parker is a WBO champion, the match will mark the first time that two reigning heavyweight champions meet in the UK.
The Principality Stadium in Cardiff will welcome 80,000 fans to watch the 24-time undefeated New Zealander against national hero Joshua.
Since defeating Carlos Takam in October, Joshua has been adjusting his training routine. Now he boxes during morning sessions and works on his running or strength in the afternoons.
On Parker's ability, Joshua said, "he is dangerous. He's a king where he is from so he has that pride on his back as well. He has to represent the heritage and that's important."
The fight will be available live to watch from the comfort of your own home. It will be a pay-per-view event available from 8pm on the Sky Sports Box Office, or you can catch the commentary on talkSPORT.
