The Top TV Shows and Films To Watch This Week (2nd - 7th January 2022)

Welcome to 2022 everyone! With so many good TV and films about, it is going to be a cosy first few months for many of us. There so, I have made it just a little bit easier and picked out five that you simply cannot miss…

The Tourist, 9pm, BBC One, Sunday 2nd January: Starring Jamie Dornan, as a man who has lost his memory, this is certainly going to be a thrilling adventure to kickstart the new year. Don’t turn away for a second.

Gogglebox, 9pm, Channel 4, Sunday 2nd January: The sofa surfers have been missed over the Christmas period. Thankfully, they are back for one final 2021 TV review, looking into the festive features that kept us hooked during December. Will your favourite be critiqued?

The Language of Love, 10pm, Channel 4, Tuesday 4th January: We all love a dating show and this new one will have you dreaming of a holiday too. Hosted by Davina McCall, this new feature sees Brits pairing up with Spanish singletons in very funny ways.

The Apprentice, 9pm, BBC One, Thursday 6th January: After what feels like forever, Lord Alan Sugar is back and ready to take us all inside the boardroom again. With new faces coming along to help him judge the contestants, we can be certain that it is going to make some comedic viewing.

Screw, 9pm, Channel 4, Thursday 6th January: Channel 4 are continuing their hard work of making new dramas, starting with Screw. Following a bunch of prison guards and the people they deal with daily, their stories are set to be gripping stuff over the course of six episodes.
