School is in session this week with my chosen top five, as TV gives us many features that we can learn from. Whilst they aren’t all serious, due to a mid-week comedy, there is a lot to be taught from the rest:
Ackley Bridge, 10pm, Channel 4, Monday 11th July: School is back in session, with Ackley Bridge returning for its fifth season tonight. Two episodes will kick off the week, so get those pencils and pens at the ready to take notes.
The Real Mo Farah, 9pm, BBC One, Wednesday 13th July: A true icon of the sporting world, Mo Farah is telling the amazing story of how he changed the world when he took part in the 2012 Olympics. As well as the legacy he is now hoping to leave behind.
The Bob’s Burgers Movie, 8am, Disney Plus UK, Wednesday 13th July: If you are a fan of the animation, than you will love this new feature length story. With all the familiar faces joining Bob on another disastrous journey, this is mid-week pick me up we all need.
Persuasion, 8am, Netflix UK, Friday 15th July: Starring Dakota Johnson, this modern retelling of the incredible Jane Austin novel will allow audiences all over the world to fall in love with it again. Classic and creative, this fantastic romance will draw everyone in.
Flee, 8am, Disney Plus UK, Friday 15th July: Probably one of the most heartbreaking features you will see this week, Disney Plus UK have created a feature about how one person must search in so many places to truly find out who they are. Get the tissues at the ready for this one!
