Family, food and fun is the theme for many of the shows I’ve selected this week. Whilst we start the week with a gripping true story, I have chosen some more fun features to to bring September 2023 to a great end. Don’t miss these five perfect viewings this week…
The Long Shadow, 9pm, ITV One, Monday 25th September: Telling the story of the Yorkshire Ripper, this new drama has already had a lot of controversy surrounding it. However, with a stellar cast, it looks set to be a very gripping viewing.
The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar, 8am, Netflix UK, Tuesday 26th September: Famed for his brilliant take on cinema and camera shots, Wes Anderson has taken this classic Roald Dahl novel and made it into a short feature. A quick but fantastic one to watch.
The Great British Bake Off, 8pm, Channel 4, Tuesday 26th September: Autumn officially arrives when the bakers enter the tent. See what baking mishaps they face whilst making delicious deserts at the same time. Grab the snacks for this one!
The Kardashians (Series Four), 8am, Disney Plus UK, Thursday 28th September: Back for a fourth series, The Kardashians are back to let us all know the latest drama in their lives. This family is never boring that is for sure.
Gen V, 8am, Prime Video UK, Friday 29th September: Set around the world of The Boys, this new show takes audiences behind the scenes of the school in the show. See how the heroes are built to save the world, whilst also letting loose. A fun binge for the weekend.
