Entertainment is coming in masses this week, as the world of TV and film is bringing something every night that will make you smile. Grab that cosy blanket and snuggle up with one of these five wonders…

Paralympics 2024 Closing Ceremony, 6:30pm, Channel Four, Sunday 8th September: It’s been an incredible summer of sport and our paralympians will be closing it in style tonight! Expect fireworks, medals and the ultimate party to close an amazing sporting period that we can all party along with! 

The National Television Awards, 8pm, ITV One, Wednesday 11th September: The celebrations continue later in the week, as host Joel Dommett gathers the biggest name in TV to hand out even more awards. From Emmerdale to Baby Reindeer, everyone who is anyone has been nominated. Check it out to see if your favourite wins. 

Jack Whitehall: Fatherhood with My Father, 8am, Netflix UK, Thursday 12th September: They have travelled the world together but now they are going on a very different journey. Fatherhood. Before he became a dad, Jack Whitehall welcomed the cameras back to find out how his father thinks he should be as a dad. The advice he gets is TV gold.

The Grand Tour Special, 8am, Prime Video UK, Friday 13th September: Back for one more final trip, the team are returning to give us an exciting cross county adventure. However, you know that wherever James May, Richard Hammond and Jeremy Clarkson go nothing will be easy. 

Uglies, 8am, Netflix UK, Friday 13th September: Starring Joey King, this feature is based on the best-selling book. Set in a future world, this is very much like The Hunger Games. Grab the popcorn and end the week with this adventure film.
