Big Brother, 9pm, ITV2, Sunday 6th October: It’s back for a second season, which means we are about to be introduced to a whole host of new housemates. Get ready for six weeks of drama from tonight.

The Hardacres, 9pm, Channel 5, Monday 7th October: Winter is all about new dramas and this new series follows a families journey from rags to riches. After the huge success of All Creatures Great and Small, Channel 5 are looking to make another hit with this.

Jamie: Fast And Simple, 8pm, Channel 4, Monday 7th October: Cooking good, wholesome food in autumn is just what we want right now! Jamie Oliver is back with a new series that can help us make the best of the best in hardly any time at all. It’s time to tuck in on Monday nights.

Killer Cakes, 8am, Prime Video UK, Tuesday 8th October: Halloween is just around the corner and this Great British Bake Off type competition is focused on the scariest bakes around. Each competitor will be making more of a bloody mess than a soggy bottom.

Dispatches, 8pm, Channel 4, Friday 11th October: After the huge success of Barbie last year, this interesting documentary covers the real story behind the people that make the dolls. Be prepared to be astonished by some of the findings!
