The Top Five Films and TV Shows to Watch this Week (28th October - 1st November 2024)

Halloween may be here this week but it is bringing out all the treats this year! Sink your teeth into my top five picks for the most devilish good viewings…

Generation Z, 9pm, Channel Four, Sunday 27th October & Monday 28th October: When a spillage occurs outside a nursing home, the residents find themselves seeking human meat to eat. Fresh from Ben Wheatley, this is sure to be a comical thrill ride.

Mary’s Foolproof Dinners, 7:3pm, BBC Two, Tuesday 29th October: With celebrity guests including Alan Carr, Mary Berry is teaching us and a select few famous faces how to cook in this new series. From technical challenges to baking classics that will remind us of eating dinner at our grandparents, Mary is back in style.

Wizards Beyond Waverley Place, 8am, Disney Plus UK, Wednesday 30th October: Who remembers watching the original Wizards when they were younger? Back in time for Halloween, the original cast are being joined by new stars to give the series a fresh new look that all the family will love.

Prince William: We Can End Homelessness, 9pm, ITV One, Wednesday 30th October & Thursday 31st October: After starting his charity to help end homelessness in 2023, Prince William allowed ITV camera crews into the hubs that they have set up throughout the UK. Full of candid conversations and honest discussions, the show will make you feel very thankful for what you have.

Paris Has Fallen, 8am, Prime Video, Friday 1st November: Based on the hit film franchise, the Fallen series has been converted into a thrilling new series that will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. Perfect to binge watch over the weekend!
