Comedy and celebrity statuses are riding high on our TV screens over the next few days! From new dramas to returning news shows, you are not going to want to miss my top five this week…

The Franchise, 10pm, Sky Comedy, Monday 21st October: Created by Sam Mendes, this comedy drama showcases the dark side of filmmaking. Featuring an all star cast, this looks set to make the awards world light up soon.

Doctor Odyssey, 8am, Disney Plus, Thursday 24th October: From the mind of Ryan Murphy, this new drama sees the life of a doctor onboard a cruise ship be turned upside down by the patients he meets. Expect a whole load of dark themes mixed with some comedy too.

Pride of Britain, 8pm, ITV One, Thursday 24th October: It has already come to that time of year where we thank those who have been utterly incredible this past year. From fundraising heroes to life saving children, get the tissues ready when watching this one.

Stand Up 2 Cancer Celebrity Gogglebox Special, 9pm, Channel Four, Friday 25th October: Celebrity Gogglebox is always brilliant but with even more stars joining them to raise money for SU2C, you can guarantee that this is going to be great. Grab the snacks and have the perfect Friday night in watching them watch TV.

The Last Leg, 10pm, Channel Four, Friday 25th October: After keeping us entertained all summer long as they covered the Paralympic’s, Josh, Adam and Alex are back to round up the weeks news. With famous faces joining them on the sofa, you can guarantee that the topics they discuss will be made a whole lot lighter afterwards.
