The Five Must-See TV Shows To Catch This Week (8th - 12th March 2021)

Hey Vibe 107.6FM Viewers! A new week has arrived and with it comes my top five TV and film picks that you simply should not miss! From online streaming sites to the big four, there is something for everyone to delve into.

Picking which one you enjoy the most will be the hardest part…

The Great Celebrity Bake Off For Stand Up To Cancer, Channel 4, Tuesday 9th March, 8pm: What better way to start the week off than with a slice of The Great British Bake Off. We all know and love the show for what it is, but there is something extra special about it when it features some of our favourite famous faces. Taking to the tent this year is James McAvoy, Daisy Ridley, Dame Kelly Holmes, John Bishop and many more. All who are sure to wet our appetites.

The Celebrity Circle For Stand Up To Cancer, Channel 4, Tuesday 9th March, 9:15pm: Straight after the GBBO, the stars are lining up again to take part in a celebrity version of The Circle. Each famous face will be taking on a new persona in the hopes to win The Circle, including YouTuber Saffron Barker, former Hollyoaks actor Duncan James and EastEnders star Denise Van Outen. With six-episodes playing out, what better way to end some lockdown restrictions than seeing celebrities being placed into it.

DNA Journey, ITV, Wednesday 10th March, 9pm: Have you ever wanted to know where you came from? Well, this show is allowing celebrities to do just that. Jamie Redknapp and Freddie Flintoff are just some of the stars taking part, as they discover everything about their pasts and who was in it. More light hearted than Who Do You Think You Are? The show will be a fun watch to help us get through the rest of the week.

Love In The Time of Corona, Disney+, Friday 12th March, 8am: Fresh from featuring in the US, this four part mini-series follows those seeking love, sex and connection during the pandemic whilst social distancing. An interesting concept that many of us have experienced or wanted in the past year.

The One, Netflix, Friday 12th March, 8am: Another show based on romance, this one comes with a bit of a difference, as the series follows a DNA researcher who helps discover a way to find the perfect partner for each and every one of us. Yet, the new matchmaking service proves to be both good and bad. This definitely looks like the next big binge-watch for all.

Let us know what you have been and what you will be watching this week, via our social media pages, as we would love to know!
