The Five Best TV Shows To Catch This Week (26th - 30th April 2021)

Hey Everyone! At VIBE 107.6FM, we like to look into the future. We like to explore upcoming talent. The work in which people are doing to bring us the ultimate entertainment. With this in mind, I have looked into it and discovered the shows that everyone will be watching, before they are even out.

Because the five shows picked below are simply too good to miss…

Viewpoint, ITV, 9pm, Monday 26th April: Taking place over the next five nights, this gripping new thriller is the perfect police show to binge on to until the Line of Duty finale this weekend. Starring Noel Clarke, each episode will take us on a journey to find a missing girl. Clarke plays Martin Young, an officer who not only has to deal with the consequences of this case, but the one that left him scarred before.

Starstruck, BBC One/Three, 10:45pm, Monday 26th April: New to BBC One, this fresh comedy, created by Rose Matafeo, looks into the story of Jessie. A young woman, who discovers that the one night stand she had was with a world famous actor. This brand new comedy is the most perfect way to make sure your week starts off on a bright and happy one.

Royal Wedding: A Day To Remember, BBC One, 7:30pm, Friday 30th April: What were you doing on the day of the royal wedding between Kate and Wills? Did you sit and watch it? Were you busy at your local street party? Snuggled up in bed enjoying the extra lie-in the bank holiday gave us? Well, whatever it was, can you believe that it was 10 years ago? No, neither can I. Looking back at the couples marriage, this is a certain feel good feature that will unite us all again to celebrate the pair.

This Time With Alan Partridge, BBC One, 9:30pm, Friday 30th April: Continuing with their theme of making sure our Friday and weekend start off on a jolly foot, the return of Alan Partridge to the BBC is a welcome one. Taking on the position as the co-host of BBC’s show, This Time, Partridge is working hard to make sure he survives the cull of TV anchors taking place. Can he do it? Watch to find out.

Pet Stars, Netflix, 8am, Friday 30th April: We love to follow them on our social media platforms, yet how do the animals we watch get on there in the first place? This new Netflix series follows talent management company Pets on Q, as they work with animal influencers on social media. Sure to be ridiculous and also brilliant, everyone will be binging on this series over the weekend. Just a word of warning, the endless scrolling afterwards of the animals, not my fault!

Let us know what you have been watching and what you are most looking forward to catching over the course of the week, via our social media pages, as we would love to know!
