Again, I am here bright and early this week to deliver you the best shows and films to watch. The theme of money and monsters is dominating our screens, with lots of new releases spinning a money web around us. So, don’t delay! Save these suggestions to your must watchlist now:
Kathy Burke: Money Talks, 10pm, Channel 4, Monday 5th July: She may be famous for her comedy roles, but Kathy Burke is fast evoking a fantastic documentary maker. In this two part series, she explores the different worlds of people who have money to burn and those struggling. It is an interesting and refreshing look at how money affects us all.
Monsters At Work, 8am, Disney+, Wednesday 7th July: Who doesn’t love Monsters Inc? Finally after the successful Monsters University, Sulley and Mike are back for a new adventure. This time in a TV show format. With all the regular voices returning, this is both fitting for adults and kids.
Eat Well For Less?, 8pm, BBC One, Thursday 8th July: Another helpful programme to make sure we spend our money wisely, the Eat Well For Less? team are back. Sadly, it is only for one final more episode, as they have decided to end the show on a high. Let’s hope though they can help one family spend it on a lower budget.
Black Widow, 8am, Disney+, Friday 9th July: After months of uncertainty about when the latest Marvel film would be released, it is being spun out to us on Friday. Scarlett Johansson returns as Black Widow to give us an action packed outing that is both in cinemas and on Disney+ Premier Access from today.
Luxe Listing Sydney, 8am, Amazon Prime Video, Friday 9th July: We may all be dedicated Selling Sunset fans. However, this new series, fresh to Prime Video, is going to be sure to rival it. Getting the chance to snoop around luxury homes, whilst also delving into the lives of those on the show, gives off perfect binge-watching vibes.
Let us know what you have been watching and what you are most looking forward to catching over the course of the week, via our social media pages, as we would love to hear all about them!
