Over £45,000 was raised at the recent anniversary event hosted by Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden.
More than 236 guests attended the Charity Dinner, which involved a meal in the Hogwarts Great Hall and private access to the Studio Tour. There was also a charity auction and prizes donated included having a Maserati Ghibli for a weekend and a one night stay for two at The Grove.
Dan Dark, Senior Vice President and Managing Director at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, said: “I am so pleased to be celebrating Peace Hospice Care’s 25th anniversary with this special dinner in the Great Hall. Of the many charities we work with, Peace Hospice Care is one of our longest standing partnerships and we are always striving to find new ways to support the incredible work that the staff and volunteers carry out. It was a fantastic evening and raised much needed funds.”
Helen Baker, Catering Services Director at Centerplate, said: “We’re delighted to be sponsoring Peace Hospice Care’s 25th Anniversary Charity Dinner. The Hospice helps so many people and their families in the Hertfordshire community and we try to support them any way we can. We have had a great time at the event and look forward to continuing our relationship with the local charity.”

Joanna Milton, Peace Hospice Care’s Corporate Fundraising Manager, described the evening: “Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden have been extremely supportive of our 25th Anniversary and we cannot thank them enough. Every year, we need £5 million to run and deliver our services and we rely on the generosity of individuals and companies to raise funds.”
