A brand-new stand-up night is taking place to get Watford laughing.
The first of which is starting this Saturday (February 10th) with a striking line up filled with belly laugh worthy acts.
The pump house has been serving the local area for over 50 years, bringing the arts to children and multiple groups in need of a creative outlet. As this stands, they are still working to raise sufficient funds to fix their roof, so why not enjoy a fun-filled night out while supporting your community.
Several prestigious, chuckle inducing comedians will be taking the stage, including:
David Ward: Host of the BBC’s ‘New Comedy Awards’ and Channel 5’s ‘So you think you’re funny?’ He has taken part in numerous stand-up tours and performed for troops in Kuwait and UAE.
Julian Deane: Deemed ‘Best new comedian’ by the Comedy Café, and the winner of ITV Stand up Hero competition, he has also been a supporting act for Paul Chowdhry, performing in impressive Arenas such as Wembley.
James Ellis: Multi-award winner, Ellis has also supported big name acts on tour while furthermore been a regular writer for BBC Radio’s Newsjack.
Markus Birdman: With 11 solo shows under his belt, Birdman has headlined top clubs such as The Comedy Store and Soho Theatre.
Malvinas Mukuma: Been said as ‘one to watch’ Mukuma was a semi-finalist for the New comedy Awards 2023.
