Peace Hospice Care has launched an 'Art Bag' exhibition in Watford running until 25th June 2016.
The 'Art Bag' project is a collaborative initiative from the Macmillan Wellbeing and Therapeutic Programme, between the Starlight Centre at Peace Hospice Care and the Spring Centre at The Hospice of St Francis.
Each art bag is filled with a simple creative activity; this year weaving has provided hundreds of people in the local community with the tools needed to create, contemplate and connect. The exhibition will showcase the completed weaving looms, visually representing the hospice communities. There will also be a participatory making space, which will allow visitors to enjoy some weaving of their own and add their piece to the evolving artwork on display.
The exhibition will be held at the Watford Museum and if you would like more information, please email Annalie Ashwell at aashwell@peacehospicecare.org.uk.
Please note Watford Museum is opening from Thursday to Saturday, 10.00am until 5.00pm. Opening times are subject to change occasionally so please contact the museum on 01923 232297 when planning your visit.
