Proudly supported by Watford Borough Council, the eighth iteration of Herts Pride will take place Saturday 31 August 2024, from 12 PM to 10 PM in Cassiobury Park.
Join Watford in the event that has brought together thousands of people to celebrate diversity and inclusivity. With performances by Angie Brown and Gareth Gates, this year's event promises to be a day full of entertainment. There will even be a dog show with various categories such as 'Waggiest Tail' and 'Best Dressed' and alongside one can find market stalls and a catering area for food and drinks.
The event will feature "Proud Portraits," an exhibit of portraits of Watford residents that are purposefully uncategorised by name, age, sexual orientation, or identity in support of Pride. A Community Wellbeing Zone will also be present at Herts Pride, serving as a resource hub for individuals seeking information and advice.
Peter Taylor, Mayor of Watford, said: "We are proud to support Herts Pride once again, showcasing Watford's commitment to diversity and inclusion.
It also highlights the ongoing work to ensure Watford remains a welcoming and inclusive place for everyone."
