The October half-term has arrived and the countdown to Halloween is officially on.
Looking for things to do that will keep the kids entertained?
Well do not worry as we have you covered with a list of spooktacular activities happening across South West Hertfordshire all this week!
Alive & Tricking This Halloween at Atria Watford (24 – 29 October, between 11am and 4pm)
Prepared to be surprised this Halloween as Cecile Skycraft, Spider Witch and Goth Rocker head to Atria Watford.
Look out for the witches as they come out to play underneath the gigantic Witches Hat, when the clock strikes the hour.
Children of all ages will get the chance to meet spooky characters including a giant frog, as well as trick or treating around the shopping centre!

Halloween Scarecrow Trail, St Albans (17 – 31 October, 10:00am to 5:00pm)
The streets of St Albans are full of scarecrows and it’s your job to track them down on this Halloween trail.
Pick up a map from the Museum + Gallery or St Albans BID office on French Row and let the spook-tastic hunt begin!
Find all nine scarecrows to unscramble the word.
Once you have done this, drop your completed map into the collection box at the BID office for a chance to win one of four St Albans gift vouchers.

Halloween in Hemel (25 and 27 October, 11am to 3pm)
Head to Hemel Hempstead town centre for some Halloween entertainment with free interactive children’s shows at the Rainbow Stage.
On Tuesday (25 October) watch The Enchanted Wardrobe and help Lucy find her way through the maze that is Halloween and return home.
Alternatively, join Joanne on Thursday (27 October) as she tries to capture the creatures which have escaped in A Ghost Busting Adventure.

Spook-Fest, Aldenham Country Park, Elstree (15 – 31 October, 9am to 5pm)
Discover frightfully fun offerings at Aldenham Country Park’s Spook-Fest this half-term.
Bring the family and take part in activities such as pumpkin picking and carving, horrid hay tractor ride, spooky trail, pumpkin bingo, and much more.
There is an early bird price of £7.50 per person, with some other activities costing extra.

Halloween fun at Reveley Lodge, Bushey Heath (26 and 27 October, 10am to 1pm and 1pm to 4pm)
Come dressed up for some spooky fun at Reveley Lodge where you will discover ghastly, gruesome and ghostly surprises hidden round every corner.
Follow the Halloween garden trail and find one of the special rocks to win a prize. There will also be crafts and activities for children (extra charges apply).
Children pay £5.00 (must be accompanied), adults entry is free.
