Enjoy amazing live music from Georgia & the Vintage Youth at the Cassiobury Fireworks!

Vibe 107.6 FM is very excited to welcome the extremely talented Georgia and the Vintage Youth to the Cassiobury Fireworks this Saturday!

Georgia is just 22 years of age and is a Signer/Songwriter/Musician from Essex with a cool jazz band called The Vintage Youth. Her retro jazz/swing style of music is both vintage and fresh, hence the name of the band! It's contagious and subconsciously gets you tapping your feet (think Jools Holland or Paolo Nutini) whilst her ballads are stripped back allowing Georgia's strong and iconic vocal to take you to another time (think Adele or Amy Winehouse). 

In November 2015 Georgia's debut single obtained her Westfield/Senheisser Artist of the Month. Since then she has virtually written her first album, released her debut EP "The Girl" and follow up EP "El Reco”, which featured Neville Staple (The Specials). More recently, she has released a Jazz/Funk/Soul EP Titled “Go FUNK Yourself” produced by Mo Pleasure (Earth Wind & Fire, Micheal Jackson). The EP’s can be found on iTunes and Spotify, and have been played across numerous radio platforms including BBC radio 2 and of course Vibe 107.6! 

This FREE event is organised and funded by Watford Borough Council, sponsored by Berkeley Homes North East London, with the support of the Watford Lions and Peace Hospice Care, who arrange the charity collection. Please give generously as all the money raised will go to the Peace Hospice, Sign Post and Watford Women’s Centre, vital local charities working within our community.

In addition to all this great entertainment, you can also take advantage of the variety of food and drink outlets, kiddies funfair rides and bungee trampolines, which will be on offer throughout the evening.

And don't forget to enter our Twitter Photo Competition! All you have to do is tweet a great photo of yourself with family or friends, enjoying the Cassiobury Fireworks to @vibe1076, before 6.50pm this Saturday. The winners will be chosen from the images we received and announced at 7.00pm by Vibe 107.6 presenters, Lee and Laura. They will be invited to collect their intu gift cards from the stage and could even join in the countdown to the fireworks!

To keep everyone safe no sparklers, fireworks or alcohol are allowed in the park.

Getting to the park: Please note, there is NO PARKING in the Gade Avenue car park from 3pm, apart from a limited number of blue badge spaces, which are available on a first come first served basis.  There are also parking restrictions on surrounding roads to the park from 7am to 11pm, so you are advised to park in one of the public car parks in the town centre.

Car parking, at £5 per car, is available at the following locations:
