Dacorum Borough Council is inviting residents the chance to take part in a virtual run to help improve fitness, whilst raising money for a local charity. It is due to take place on the 17th and 18th October. The fitness event is being spearheaded by the council together with 'Your Town.'
“What an innovative way to ensure Dacorum residents are able to connect virtually, whilst improving their wellbeing and giving people the opportunity to step up to a new challenge.”
Mayor of Dacorum, Councillor Terry Douris, explains why he selected this particular organisation:
“Choosing Raise as a charity was an easy option for the event this year, as our hospitals have been working so hard to look after local residents during the pandemic.”
It is hoped this event will make sure that patients and their families receive the ‘highest level’ of care,’ for many ‘years to come.’ To find out how you can sign up, and for information visit: www.ticketsource.co.uk/mayors-office-dacorum-borough-council/t-mvzmrd
